A lot of the places do not accept travel cards and sometimes accept credit cards. Travellers should carry some cash in AUD just in case machines or wifi don’t work. We like to give business to the street hawkers who only accept cash.

Yes you will need an evisa. Apply for one on the website- indianvisaonline.gov.in

The evisa forms on the website are lengthy and requires a lot of patience.

Beware of fraudulent websites that offer the services of filling the forms for you and charge you a few hundred dollars.

The inclusions are, 5 star accomodation on twin sharing basis including breakfast, transfers and transport for sightseeing and travel between cities, some may include local flights or trains, tickets to monuments, bottled water, local guides and activities that are mentioned in the itinerary.

The exclusions are, international flights, visa fees, travel insurance ( which is mandatory), meals that are not in the list of inclusions, and anything that is not mentioned in the list of inclusions.

Bookings can be made by paying a non refundable deposit of $500. Receipts and a copy of the terms and conditions will be emailed to you, please give it a read.

The balance is to be paid 60 days before departure, otherwise the booking may be cancelled.

Any cancellations have to be given in writing and will take effect on the day the notice is given. The following cancellation charges will apply.

Upto 61 days- loss of deposit

Between 60-30 days- loss of 50% of the tour costs.

Between 29-departure date- loss of 100% of the tour costs

Please make sure that you have travel insurance from the moment you pay the deposit and make sure that the cover is adequate and covers all your travel expenses.

Ask your regular GP for advice on vaccinations and always carry your regular medications that you have daily. The prescribed medications may not be available in the same dose or brand in India.
